LifeSaver Ministries LifeSaver Ministries

LifeSaver Ministries is a unique crisis pregnancy help-line. Our help line is covered 24 hours a day by lay counselors, trained in crisis pregnancy intervention and post-abortion syndrome.  We have over 350 trained volunteers that blanket New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. When a girl calls in from one of these states we are able to connect her with a counselor in her area. Each client has different needs. Some need to know if they are pregnant. Some have questions about abortion. Many are suffering the after affects of abortion.

When a girl needs post-abortive counseling we connect her with a counselor that has taken an advanced post abortion counseling seminar. Many of our counselors are post-abortive and understand the journey post-abortive women must go through in order to heal. With love and support our counselors will walk the journey with her.

Counselors use only clinic quality pregnancy tests, with a 99.9% accuracy rate. All of our counselors are pro-life Christians, and will give the client all the information she needs to make good choices. The counselor will help her work through her emotions and help her to recognize her strengths. Often when a person is facing a crisis it’s hard for them to see all their options and all the possibilities. LifeSaver Ministries believes that if we focus on the mother, we’ll win the baby by default.

LifeSaver Ministries does not encourage their counselors to use graphic abortion pictures while counseling with a client. We believe that when a girl sees fetal development pictures and understands the abortion procedures, graphic pictures are not necessary for her to make the connection. All of our counselors rely on the Holy Spirit’s leading as they counsel, and look for open doors to introduce the client to Christ.

TLC Program: Many of our clients are single mothers and are struggling financially. Our TLC Program offers them a hand-up. Each client can receive one TLC box per child. In the box are outfits, blankets, coats, hygiene products, diapers, bottles, and other case specific needs. Also included in each box is a bible, tract, and a letter encouraging the client to turn towards the One who will always be there, through every trial. We offer the boxes as a way to show the love of Christ to a hurting world. Just as Christ addressed the physical needs of others so that their hearts would be open to hear the truth about their spiritual needs, our prayer is that as we help to lift the physical burden in their life, they will open their heart to Christ and allow Him to meet the spiritual need of their life.  Girls from any state can request help from the TLC program. Our boxes are shipped UPS to any US address.

Soul-utions Ministry:
We have recently moved into a 3 story building in Gloversville, NY. This building allows us to offer our counseling and assistance programs directly to women in the surrounding community. The building also houses our offices and serves as a place to prepare and store materials for our TLC program.

Fields of Grace OutreachFOG

Fields of Grace Outreach is a 501(c) not-for-profit charitable organization designed to help develop the potential of youth and young adults. Engaging youth in positive activities builds success and achievement which, in turn, helps them to design their own fulfilling futures.

Seeing the need for positive reinforcement, nurturing of potential, development of life skills and help for day to day living  among the youth in our area, a group of concerned individuals incorporated Fields of Grace Outreach to reach the youth with programs which would target the “fields” in which they had the greatest needs.  That’s where we began in 2006.

Fields of Grace Outreach is an inclusive, faith-based charitable organization founded in Christian principles and traditions, dedicated to instilling values of compassion, honesty, respect, responsibility and providing for the lifelong personal growth and development of a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Our Outreach Mission is to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming community forum where local workshops, guest speaker talks, book readings, film screenings, recreational youth events, musical concerts and discussion groups are hosted for all ages in an effort to combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency; to nurture dignity and respect for others by providing humanitarian assistance and relief to the poor, the underprivileged and the distressed; to encourage social responsibility and good stewardship of resources; to promote peace of mind, body and spirit through interactive faith-based workshops, retreats, and seminars.

Wycliffe Bible Translators

Wycliffe was founded in 1942 by William Cameron Townsend.  A missionary to the Cakchiquel Indians of Guatemala, Townsend caught the vision for translation when Cakchiquel-speaking men expressed their concern that the Bible was not available to them in the language they understood clearly. As a result, Townsend resolved that every man, woman and child should be able to read God’s Word in their own language.

Townsend resolved that every man, woman and child should be able to read God’s Word in their own language. Borrowing the name of the Reformation hero, John Wycliffe, who first translated the Bible into English, Townsend founded “Camp Wycliffe” in 1934 as a linguistics training school. By 1942, “Camp Wycliffe” had grown into two affiliate organizations, Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL).

Today, SIL and Wycliffe Bible Translators work together to translate Scripture, train field personnel and promote interest in translation. More than 700 translations have been completed, and hundreds more are in the process. With God’s provision, Townsend’s vision will be realized.
