On Bring Your Bible to School Day — this year’s event is on Thursday, October 7, 2021 — students across the nation will share God’s love with their friends. It’s an annual event for students sponsored by Focus on the Family. The event is designed to empower students to express their belief in the truth of God’s Word — and to do so in a respectful way that demonstrates the love of Christ.

Participation is completely up to students. Christian clubs and youth groups can sign up online and lead the activities in their school.

SYATP – See You At The Pole – 

See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Over thirty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.

See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.       ~ www.syatp.com

A great group of women is meeting every 2nd Saturday of the month to make projects for various causes.

Presently, we are finishing up on sewing baby quilts for a crisis pregnancy center and are beginning on some fun projects for gifts.

We will be starting on lap quilts for nursing homes very soon. 

Even if you don’t sew, we can always use your help in other ways… or just come and fellowship with us. We look forward to having you join us!
